Another advantage of heat transfer labels is that they can be made in a wide variety of colours and designs.
You have to check if heat transfer labels are suitable for the garment sometimes they may not be suitable for all types of fabrics. Some fabrics, such as those that are very thin or stretchy, may not hold up well to the heat and pressure required to apply a heat transfer label.
Instructions to apply the heat transfer clothing labels
- Peel the label off the sheet
- Place label face up on garment
- Cover with baking paper (preferred) or clean, dry cloth
- Set iron to Medium/Wool setting 155 Deg C
- Press with medium pressure for 15 seconds
- Allow to cool slightly and carefully remove paper or cloth while warm.
